Ans.) Students must meet the following criteria:
  • Maintain the minimum academic performance specified by the company (typically 60% and above).
  • No active backlogs.
  • Complete the placement registration process with the Corporate Resource Department (CRD).
Q.) How do I register for campus placements?
Ans.) Students can register by filling out the placement registration form shared by the CRD. Ensure all details are accurate, and submit the required documents such as updated resume and mark sheets.  
Q.) What are the key steps to prepare for placements?
Ans.) To excel in placements:
  • Attend the PDP & soft skill sessions regularly.
  • Attend all pre-placement training and workshops.
  • Participate in mock interviews and group discussions.
  • Prepare a professional resume tailored to your target industry.
  • Research the companies visiting the campus.
 
Q.) Can I sit for multiple companies during placements?
Ans.) Yes, students can participate in multiple placement drives unless they accept an offer. Once an offer is accepted, participation in other drives may be restricted as per the placement policy.  
Q.) What types of companies visit the campus for placements?
Ans.) Companies from various sectors such as IT, finance, consulting, manufacturing, marketing, HR and more visits the campus. They range from startups to multinational corporations.  
Q.) What should I bring on the day of placement interviews?
Ans.) Carry the following:
  • Multiple copies of your resume.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • Academic transcripts and certificates.
  • Any project reports or portfolios (if applicable).

Q.) What is the placement process for students?
Ans.) The placement process typically involves:

Ans.) Yes, many companies also offer internship opportunities during campus recruitment. These internships may lead to pre-placement offers based on performance.  
Q.) What support is provided by the Corporate Resource Department (CRD)?
Ans.) The CRD assists students with:
  • Pre-placement training (soft skills, resume building, interview techniques).
  • Organizing placement drives and coordinating with recruiters.
  • Scheduling mock interviews and aptitude sessions.
  • Providing career counseling and industry insights.
 
Q.) What happens if I miss a placement drive?
Ans.) Missing a placement drive without a valid reason may result in penalties as per the placement policy. It is important to inform the CRD in advance in case of unavoidable circumstances.  
Q.) Can students approach companies for off-campus placements?
Ans.) Yes, students are encouraged to explore off-campus opportunities as well. However, they must keep the CRD informed to ensure compliance with college placement policies.  
Q.) Is there a dress code for placement activities?
Ans.) Yes, students are required to adhere to a formal dress code:
  • For men: Formal shirt, trousers, tie, and polished shoes.
  • For women: Formal western or Indian attire. Maintaining a professional appearance is essential.
 
Q.) What if I face technical issues during online placement drives?
Ans.) In case of technical difficulties, immediately inform the CRD and company representatives. Always have a backup plan for internet connectivity and power supply during online assessments or interviews.  
Q.) Are there any restrictions on the type of companies I can apply to?
Ans.) Students are free to apply to companies aligned with their career goals. However, some companies may have specific eligibility criteria, which students must fulfill to participate.
